burn iso file hd partition

"Burn" iso file to HD or partition

Hi folks,
For those of us fortunate enough to have d/led the iso file, but not so fortunate as to have a (2 layer for x64) DVD burner:
Could you please explain how to "burn" the iso to a HD or partition?
Also,
as I have a x64 computer with 32bit XP Media Center, is it possibe to "boot" from the "burned" HD or partition, so as to create an XP32/Vista dual-boot system? (I've read it's not possible to install Viata x64 from XP32)
Hope this is clear....
Thanks, JR

You can't burn an ISO to a partition, you can extract the contents of the ISO to a folder on your drive, but you have Vista x64 so that would not be possible.
The x64 ISO can be burnt a standard DVD 9 disk, no dual layer disk required. Burning the ISO Image in NERO and Roxio Easy CD Creator: NERO Insert a Blank DVD, open Nero StartSmart > change the media type to DVD > select Copy and Backup > click "Burn Image to Disc" > navigate to where the Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored on your hard disk, (note: if you don't see it, make sure the image file type is changed to ISO" click Open and the burning wizard will automatically start.
Roxio Open Creator Classic > click File > "Record Disc from Image" > navigate to where the Windows Vista BETA 2 Image is stored >click Open and the burning wizard will automatically start.
Ensure that the ISO burns at a low speed, recommended speed, 2x for best results. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
